🍫 Fudgy Skillet Brownie

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons butter

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • ½ cup chocolate chips

  • 3 eggs

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • ¼ teaspoon espresso powder

  • ⅛ teaspoon baking powder

  • ⅛ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.

  2. In an 8-inch oven-safe skillet, brown the butter over medium heat. Once it turns golden, remove it from the heat.

  3. While the butter is still warm, stir in the chocolate chips until completely melted. Mix in both sugars until smooth.

  4. Let the mixture cool to room temp, then whisk in the eggs until fully combined.

  5. Fold in the flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, salt and baking powder until just combined. Don’t overmix.

  6. Bake for 24–26 minutes until the edges are set and the center is still slightly fudgy.

  7. Let cool for 10–15 minutes and enjoy warm—especially with vanilla ice cream.

Pro tip: Pull it from the oven when the center still has a slight jiggle. That’s the secret to that ultra-fudgy texture. 🤎
